STEEL MOTORCYCLE SHIPPING OR STORAGE PALLET

Post by RRoller123 »

I live in a condo and have no need for the heavy duty steel shipping pallet that my Beemer was shipped to me on. It is a really clever design, ride on, ride off, bolts together and is easily moved with a standard pallet jack when loaded, or when disassembled, it can be slid around and moved by one person. (8 bolts, and 4 straps, included).

It would be great to use for Winter storage, when combined with an outer shrink wrap as it was sent to me and is seen in the pictures. Can be used repeatedly for shipment as well.

It is in the back of my truck, disassembled, in Plymouth MA and I have it listed on CL and FB, etc and want to sell it for any reasonable offer. I have it up on CL for 100 bucks, but ANY reasonable offer from the Fiat community gets it, and I will deliver it within a reasonable distance of Plymouth, MA. It would be a shame to sell it for a few pennies a pound at the scrap yard.

I just dropped the pallet off at Dunbar Euro-Sports in Brockton MA, as a donation to the cause, and some goodwill for a future contingency.... :)

They are likely to just give it away, I think, they didn't have much interest in it, but figure that someone can use it. I am happy to have it out of the back of my truck. So anyone interested, feel free to contact them. It is out on their back dock.

Great shop, 60 years in the same location selling and servicing Beemers and Ducatis. They think this pallet is very similar to the Ducati pallets they see and may have been one originally.
