Hi Matt here. not posting much because car just runs great . Until last night. no start. got battery and engine cranks just fine. horrendous rain and hail storm led me to tow it home without much chance for trouble shooting. my mind said fuel or spark. so this morning with a plan I went out to the barn and ready to start figuring things out first thing I find is a wire disconnected laying at my feet in drivers foot well. now I have not tackled much electrical so you have to bare with my lack of jargon with all electrical.
Her is what I am looking at .... thick brown wire (same sixe as the one attached to positive battery cable in trunk) this wire goes into a flat white connector (1.5 inches by 3 inches aprox) ... out the other side come equally big brown wire .. a black wire and a brown wire with white stripe (smaller) ... on this brown wire is and inline fuse with red bullet fuse, not blown, and then another foot of wire that has been disconnected from who know where (that is my question) .... fiddling with the wires the disconnected end touched the brake pedal and sparked .... going to get my multimeter and check voltage but wanted to post here first ....
My hope is that you know where the wire came from... hook it up and all will be unicorns and rainbows .... lots of stuff to do today but will be poking around under there and see if I can see something obvious.... thanks ..Matt

Glad to see that things are going well for you and your Spider,...AND that you were able to survive the hailstorm, and get your ignition fixed so easily/quickly!

thanks... circuit c-17 ... brown white wire feeds the injectors relay ... hooked it up (with help ) and fired right up .... as you know it takes sorta ballerina feet to drive a spider... I had work boots on that day and think that the bigger feet snagged the wire in question and yanked it out .... its all good now and I spent some time tucking the wires up and away better than they were.... Matt
