Rubber screws

Prepping my car for paint. Decided to take grill out of fresh air intake under front cowl. There were 3 each about 1\2" rubber like studs that screw into Grace under the cowl to hold the black grated in place. Of course previous pos owner used some kind of black tar like sealant that made it impossible to unscrew the rubber whatevers. Therefore had to ruin them to remove. ANYBODY know what they are called and where to get them? Texsardo

My Spider is a '79, but I know the fasteners that you speak of. Mine are also covered in a tar sealer, but I think the factory did it since they have never been disassembled.
I'd like to disassemble mine for 'restoration', so I'll hope someone knows where to get new ones,...

Actually, I believe that those are used to adjust the rear cowl edges up, or down.
The item that we wonder about attaches the black plastic grill to the underside of the cowl panel,...

Actually the items I am looking for is the reply with autoricambi. Unfortunately it shows they are out of stock. Have to wonder why factory would tar them in place. Texsardo

Those rubber screws are used to hold the cowl grills from underneath. So the small grills have that metal clip that partially holds but when one gently tightens the rubber screws they further hold the grills. You'll see. The other question is the corners, closest towards the windshield, where other screws support the cowl. I just recently discovered (from a donor car) white plastic screws go there. They are harder, and perhaps (?) more slippery, than the rubber screws. And yes, the tar muck was done at the factory. I guess to hold the rubber screws in, keep them from leaking water around them?
