Prima front brake kit install question

Post by DaveMarcotte »

So I got my brake Prima kit last week. Didn't come with instructions and none I can find here or elsewhere online. Seems pretty straight forward though. Couple things to clarify with anyone that has them installed.
- the bracket goes on so that the caliper will mount towards the front at about 11 o'clock?
- the original metal shield won't fit back on, so no longer installed?

Thanks in advance

Mine came with a full set of instructions. Call the vender, they will e-mail you a copy.

Sorry for the delay, you may have already resolved the issue, but ...

The mounting plate will only bolt on ‘reasonably’ one way, so as to properly mount the calipers.

They recommend removing the back guards, and state that they are not necessary as their usefulness is limited at best.
