Front Grills in White (Body Color)

Was doing some cosmetic touch-up on nose, pulled grills to clean and paint satin black and noticed I had only white primer on hand. After priming w/ the white I temporarily stuck them in to see what it would look like. I will likely go with the black but took a couple pictures to share. Look is drastically different and I think maybe makes it look newer which is not desirable, for me anyway. What do you think?

It looks okay. I've seen them aluminum colored, black and painted. I think the older honeycomb grills look best aluminum but the others look best in black. Just my opinion of course.

With those wheels I think it would look better with a black lower grill and a chrome painted upper.

I vote for chrome paint on both but i do think the black lower would look ok too.

The white looks too obviously spray painted but the black wheels look pretty cool and mean.

Lol... I see that from your picture. Ultimately I'll keep them black although I will replace upper grill w/ ABS honey comb w/ Pininfarina "f" badge in center of it. I am eliminating the hood and trunk badges. I'm guessing many people will ask, "What kind of car is that?"

My grills are silver!

I had no emblems for a while.. got a lot of complement about how pretty my Porsche was, lol!

- I like the grill. Personally not a lower case “f” fan. Post more pics of your ride, I think it’s pretty sweet!

Ha! I had a Volvo once as a kid and put a Mercedes hood ornament on it. Maybe I'll get some Ferrari badges for the Fiat!
