Distributor Timing Advance

I tested my vacuum pot and discovered that it was not allowing or holding any vacuum, so I replaced it. Now, it holds vacuum (when sucked on), and with th D cap off, I can clearly see the distributor plate move. I also checked, and have excelllent vacuum from the manifold hose to the vacuum pot.

With other cars, when I’ve tested a working vacuum advance, the engine rpm increases when the test tube (hose) is sucked on.
However, I’m getting no rpm increase when testing.
It should also be noted that the engine runs fine, performs well and has lots of pick-up.

Any thoughts, deductions or conclusions?
