Vin Number Decoding / Limited Edition Numbering mystery

Hey everyone.

I recently picked up a gold fiat spider with Vin: 124cs000179006

It's listed as a 1981 - and does appear to have been part of the limited edition series as there are holes for the missing emblem badges on the side panels. The center console also doesn't have the limited edition emblem.

Do you know if there's a way to figure out which number of the 1000 produced this might have been?

Really hoping to figure this out, might consider getting emblems made to replace the ones that were removed.
