Arn Rest Chrome

Post by GOPAPA »

Heres a picture of the divers side arm rest chrome that I installed new yesterday and also the passenger side one that I found that it wouldn't take to the tucking of the plastic chrome .So I siliconed it in .. I found that some one had did a bad job of repearing it with staples .. Just curious ... what do you think ..deal or no deal on whether to replace the arm rest or not ?
I know what I am going to do ,,but wanted to know how many on here say no deal or deal.. LOL papa

I vote to replace the bad one. Easy for me to say, it wouldn't cost me a dime. But it sure would look better.

Replace! Replace! Replace!

If they both looked bad, you might be able to pull it off, but with the good one on the driver's side, I'd say out with the old and in with the new.

That stiching is problably the holes from the stapes I took out so they wouldn't show ,,and I thought maybe I could tuck the chrome in there and hide the little rust holes ,,but it didn't work as you can see .. Mark is going to look for me a replacment arm rest and other items..

I wanted it to work with the arm rest because to get another might have a different shade if the sun light has faded it more or less ,,which ever the case might be .. but this one has to go ,,just like the rear bumper needs new ends .. Can't have it looking like .. papa
