Well,...I was going to have this REALLY nice 'half-a-fender' for my Spider, and it shipped on Thursday.
But then the FedEx truck it was in (and everything else in the truck) caught fire and BURNT UP! Driver was OK.
Midwest-Bayless called first thing and assured me that they have another, but Matt will need to retrieve it from storage and send pics. And it's the weekend. We'll see, but I thought you'd find this story interesting,...
The thought of that 40 year old fender piece melting in the truck fire,...ouch. MB lost six packages in the fire.
So, ya think my Spider is cursed to never be finished/restored?
