Any red on red spiders out there?

I'm neck deep in my 1977 project car. Currently spending most of my free time on body filler and sanding, and sanding, and sanding and more sanding. Anyway, the topic of finish color has crept into my mind and I am having a hard time deciding. The car came with red seats, door panels and carpet. Black center console. I like the red interior and plan on keeping it. I'm kinda leaning towards red on red. Anyone out there have a red over red spider?

I have not seen a red / red spider yet, but I think it would look great.

Mine had a red exterior with maroon/burgundy interior and a black dash when we brought it home.

I did not love the look. To me the two colors did not compliment each other in any way.

My '81 is silver with red interior. I love it. I want to keep it. Door panels can be revived, I think, but armrests are grim. Will need recovering. Seat covers are available and the carpet, too. I'm most worried about the center console. It is chipped and cracked and I want to get a red one. I hate those hard plastic covers. Thinking about getting it recovered in red vinyl. Maybe. Uh, will have to ask the wife about that...

A bit late, but just noticed this post. I have a Rosso Corsa (I think) BS1 with black interior but the Swiss restorer (in late 80's) fitted bright red carpets. I have to say that I think black interior with red paint would've been better ! So my vote would be black inside and red out, but how did your's turn out ?
