New Fiat Seats in Spider Classic

I am wanting to install the new fiat seats in my Spider Classic. Has anyone attempted this and succeeded or failed?

Okay someone from the 124spider forum was kind enough to measure their seats for me. Thinking it is a no go due to the height of the seat.

Still if anyone has tried it let me know as I would love to give it a shot.

Does anyone have or could anyone measure the seats in their fiat? Looking for:

- Height from floor to top of head rest
- Height from floor to to of seat bottom (where your but goes)
- Width of seat bottom

I have a fiat classic and love the new seats so want to see if they will fit.

These are for the Recaro seats:

Take with a pinch of salt, as we're not measuring things that are flat and square

36-39-1/4" (depending on recline)
about 8" - depending on adjustment
Seat is about 20" wide including the knob/lever on the side

I can measure the seat pan width inside the bolsters if you need that.
