Carburetor

Post by Funcar »

I have a brand new Weber 28/30 DHTA 7/39 carburetor that came in a parts box with my spider. Can anyone tell me what year spider this carb fits? I have a 73 spider with the 1608 engine. A local mechanic has asked me to sell it to him to put on a 79 Spider. How much is it worth and will it fit?

there seems to be quite a few different webers on the years of these cars.
My '79 has a 28/32 (haven't heard of a 28/30) works fine, but most change these out to better carbs: 32/36 or 34's.
there are a variety of prices on these bigger ones. you can check e bay for the span of pricing.
yours might be $100-150??

I am in process of changing from mine to a 32/36
