Just another terrible idea
I was browsing through YouTube watching roadkill when I saw them mention a v4, i then decided to look them up only to find that the twin cam is just as good if not better than the Lancia V4. I then went on my usual thought process of looking up small engines and found the mazda k8, a small V6 engine that is relatively cheap to get my hands on and then a Buick 215 V8 which is rather odd. My terrible idea is whether or not I should even throw something like the K8 into my donor car to see if it's even possible.

If you've got the time I'd say do it and start a build thread.

The Buick 215 was an aluminum V8 from the early 60's, that turned into the English Rover V8. They made it in various forms until 2005. Find yourself a junked Land Rover and pull that lump out of there and put it to some good use

I always thought a Mazda rotary would be a cool conversion. They're not too big and I think can generate a quite a bit of power. It's been many, many years since I road in a rotary powered car, but I remember it being pretty strong.

I know this is a bit of necro posting, but I've been off the board for a while..
I have a Range Rover (with a 4.2L, based on that Buick 215), as another project, next to my Spider. No way that engine is fitting in there.

I've talked to several spider enthusiasts who did this in the 70s and 80s, an in fact there was actually a guy who wanted to buy my scrap '70 spider for the sole purpose of putting a rotary in it.klweimer wrote:I always thought a Mazda rotary
