Hello:
I am on the last item of a 5 year restoration of a 74 spider, Gelsomina. I am reattaching my convertible top frame and have two
thick washers that I can not find where they go. I have them in the same bag with my top mounting hardware. Actually I have two bags because I bought two spiders and made one. Here is an image:
Any info would be appreciated. Just wanna put them where they belong.
Can anyone identify this mystery washer

Re: Can anyone identify this mystery washer
Thank you for responding. Thats what I am thinking also, but there are only 2 countersunk allen screws on each side and the metal frame holes are countersunk tappered so i am thinking spacer as well. Problem is that frame fits in there pretty tight already, and there were only 2 spacers, would think two on each side to keep it even. Ive looked thru my three manuals and online for an exploded view but have not found one as of yet.
Best Regards

I think the washer fits between the lower mounting hole and the threaded floating piece. If you put the counter sunk screws in I think the top one has the floating thread close to the opening and the lower one has a space for the washer.
