A while back I had to re-set the secondary idle stop screw on my Chinese Weber 34 ADF. It had just vibrated loose. My idle has since been stuck very high (2000 RPM), so I assume that I had this screw set wrong. Unfortunately, it's stripped to hell and NOT coming out in a conventional way. I took off the carb completely in hopes that it might be easier to extract, but so far, no luck. (There are some other screws or holes on this carb that seem to just be machined terribly...)
And here's the view from behind
Here's what the screw should look like, FYI, from another's post: http://www.fiatspider.com/f15/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=32043
Any ideas?

Re: Stripped secondary stop screw
Just recently battled a stripped screw on an alternator I was disassembling, I won after I ditched the scewdriver and grabbed my electric drill, put in a flat head bit and set the speed to LOW.

Odyle, that's a great idea. I'll give it a shot. I have a small driver bit that should fit.
