I just discovered these on ebay. Seems an interesting alternative to the hard plastic covers and the pricey new dashes. Anyone had experience with them?

Re: Dash cover
Very interesting.
The only possible issue is that putting it over an original dash that is cracked and in bad shape may provide an unsatisfactory result.

Re: Dash cover
I agree, KevandAndi.
My own plan was to recover my dash in four-way stretch vinyl. I broke/scrapped/ripped off all the old dried up bits of the vinyl on the dash, got it down to foam, then used filler-foam to fill in the tears, smooth it out. Great plan...only vinyl is a pain to heat up, stretch, push, and glue in. (Local interior guy said, "just pay the $600 for a new dash as at the end of what you are trying to do, you'll wish you'd spent it.") So, as this leather is already roughly fitted for the ins-and-outs of the dash, it should be (should) easier to fit. Er...right?

Re: Dash cover
"stretched, glued and trimmed" goes a long way...could just be a rectangular piece of leather. Scary...
