Hi all. I am suspecting that my electric fuel pump is not providing enough pressure. Car is not starting and see through fuel filter is not filling up.. This car is a new and continuing project for me and I still haven't managed to get her running. Is there a test i can do to see if the fuel pump is delivering enough fuel ? The relay for the fuel pump is making a constant buzz sound (like seat belt relay),,,is this normal ? Can anyone recommend a good electric fuel pump ?
Thanks.

The buzzing sound may depend on the mounting method. If there are two rubber isolators at the mounting bolts, it is normally pretty quiet. The definitive way to test fuel pump operation is to simply disconnect the fuel line at the carb, and observe the flow into a container.
