After pulling the crank I noticed these rings at the front of the crank, what are they called? and should I replace them?

You must be working on a 1438cc engine. They are part of the centrifugal oil filter located in the fornt crank pulley, only the 1438cc engines had that. I've never had to deal with those parts, so I do not know if they need rpelacement. See if any of the shop manuals have specs on them.

I have the shop manual, however they do not discuss this part. In fact the manual mainly shows "how to" on the 124 A.000 single cam motor, only addressing the 1438 in the specs tables. I wish I could find a shop manual that is only about the 1438. Well, thanks Csaba for your answer They look to be in good shape, however I didn't pay particular attention on the orientation of the rings so I'll have to find out before the rebuild.
