fuel pump not pumping

new tank
sending unit
fuel pump
new filter
all new hoses from hard line to where ever
new gas
new clamps on hoses
blew air thu the main line and return line twice
took the fuel pump out, in stalled it ,seems to go in at the same stop and easy
but it not pumping,no gas

Did you prime the carb? The new lines are one long pocket of air. You'll need higher rpm in order to start flow.

I assume that you do not have an electric pump. I would use a little "starter Fluid" to get the motor
going long enough to get the fuel lines and the carburetor bowel full. Just a little squirt goes a long way.

Repeat until engines run on it's own.

A large fire extinguisher on hand is a good idea.

Well. I need a new carb, so I'm getting that then I will start over and get it running
I'm going to add a new starter too

Did you use a clear filter or run the line from the carb into a container to verify there is no gas flowing to the pump? Make sure you have the hoses the right way on the pump, 50% chance to get it backwards. Forget the carb or the motor until you have gas flowing out of the pump......this is all assuming an electric fuel pump is being used.

Sounds like the pump is not working. Try removing the pump and working the lever arm by hand to see if it moves gas, could be the new pump is defective, I guess.
