Fiat 2300S

Post by dreavis »

I'm sure I am very late to the party on this, but I recently discovered the Fiat 2300S. This, to me, is one of the best looking cars fo that era. The lines are incredible and would love to see one n person. If anyone has one or has driven one, I'd love to hear your experiences.

The rear is very similar to the Ferrari 330 GTS and the interior looks amazing.

That is a sweet ride. I've never seen or heard of this one before. Is that some sort of foot rest on the passenger side?

I assume that is a foot rest. I've seen those in the rear seat of larger luxury sedans, but never in a car like this.

Also, the lines around the rear window look especially cool to me. Not sure I've ever seen that on another car.

I had seen that video before, but thanks for reminding me. And, Petrolicious has some great videos about some of the greatest cars ever made.
One of my recent viewing obsessions (prompted by Petrolicious) is videos on the Citroen DS and SM. I rode in a DS once as a kid in England and I remember it seemed magical.

My friend has a DM in excellent condition, that he regularly brings to the alternate Thursday Cruise at the Bass Pro Shops (Patriot Place/Gillette Stadium). The largest Cruise on the East Coast, 2000-3000 cars typical when the weather is good. It is really fun looking at that backwards mounted Maserati V-6!

great video. On the other hand. This guy has what looks like leather gloves on which is cool. But he is driving with what seems to look and sound to be leather sole shoes. (not cool) He needs to go back and get some driving shoes (the ones with the rubber sole that runs up the back on the shoes. Sorry they don't make all that sexy sound on wooden floors.) and at least redo the first scene. As it is now it looks like he buys a new pair of shoes and then jumps into his Fiat 2300S to try his new shoes and the car. I thought even those fancy ($$$$$) Italian shoes need a break-in period.

Beautiful. Resembles a vintage Aston Martin in my opinion
1979 Spider 2000 (gone)
1984 Pininfarina Azzurra (for sale)
1982 Spider 2000 (here to stay)
