Fuel Pump question

My 78 Fiat 1.8 2bbl carb has a fuel pump on it from O'Reilly. Its pumping 25gph, but i could get one that pumps 15gph. Should i get the 15gph or keep the 25? My car is having problems where it'll putter and missfire if i give it to much gas.

I agree with Mark, I don't think it's a pump issue. Have you done a basic tune-up? As to the pump, Webers are sensitive to pressure so you can hook up a test pressure gauge and see what readings you get, should be below 4 psi. If it's higher than that you can install a fuel pressure regulator.
