Im in amherst county near Lynchburg...... lots of great back roads to explore. skyline drive, blue ridge parkway..... eastern shore, mountians, piedmont, Virginia has it all. good festivals, good climate, and true 4 seasons. just don't bother going north to DC its a whole different world up there...... sorry DC guys, but you have horrible traffic up there!!

I hear once that virginia and north carolina have the most paved roads in america.......riverdadd

Also, search VIR race track. they are in Danville VA and have a couple of vintage events throughout the calendar year that I like to attend. you are also well within range of summit point, they too have vintage events..... hope to see you on the road this spring!

I'll be down in Lynchburg in March to renew my Inspection Authorization at an FAA seminar. If the weather cooperates, I might have to drive one of the 124s down that way.

I'm in the Shenandoah Valley about 25 miles west of Charlottesville, junction of 64 and 81. You can check this out, www.dcfiats.org.
One of largest Fiat clubs around. I think last number I heard was 200 classic/vintage Spiders and 100 500/Abarths. Great group and at least one gathering a month.

Looks like you're going to have some great groups and drives ahead of you! Keep those of us on the left coast informed. It might give us some ideas for our Sacto club.
