I got an offer for some turbo wheels the other day. Teh guy texted me from 1-563-275-3174 and then sent me a check. A number of things did not add up so I was going to wait for the check to get fully processed (my bank says 10 working days).
The dude was pumping me for my banking info and then demanding that I send his money back.
Turns out the the check was bogus and the dude was a ripoff artist.

thats very similar to "the over payment" scam.
even after the check is cleared it can come back as fraud and your on the hook to your bank.
