1980 fiat spider:
Primary coil Resistance check (.75 to .81 ohms.) I got 1.5 ohms.
Secondary Resistance check (10,000 to 11,000 ohms.) I got 12,400 ohms.
Pick-up assembly check (700 to 800 ohms.) I got 839 ohms.
Are these readings ok?
I'm assuming they are but would like a second opinion.
Do I need a new coil???

The numbers are consistently on the high side. I would check your meter battery and or check a know ohm resistor.

Re: Do I need a new coil???
Are you using a digital meter or an analog meter? If you touch the meter leads together does the meter read Zero?? With digital meters if the internal battery is weak they loose their accuracy.
Analog meters have a zero adjust post You set for a zero reading with the leads connected together.
