Hi everyone
Just wandering if anyone has used bucks pop up pistons with any success. I had ordered some standard pistons from them and they accidentally sent me pop up pistons.
I am a bit concerned about clearance issues .
Cheers.
Jules

That will raise your compression ratio.

If you weren't planning on high compression pistons in your rebuild, I'd return them. They'll give you higher compression, but potentially high enough to give you knock problems. I think they advertise something over 10:1. What's your plan for the rest of your rebuild?

Thanks for replies,
Vicks have been good about it and are sending the lower compression pistons.
I am doing a mild rebuild, the head has previously been ported and polished, an twin 40 idfs.
As I get a bit older ( 44 ) I am leaning more towards reliability rather than power
