I have a small amount of oil hitting my headers. It is not coming from the gasket valve cover gasket. I had this problem a month ago and found it coming from the distributor shaft. I orders the parts I needed from AR and installed. No oil leak until now. It seems to be the same place. The o ring when installed felt tight and all fits properly. What or how do I correct it now? Or what do I do now. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I also still do not have any low beams or brake lights. All the grounds seem to be good, bulbs good, bought a power prob to check and still trying to figure it out also. HELP
THXS Henry

Re: Oil leak
Did you remove the distributor gear and replaced the seal that is under it?
If so, did you orient it the same way as before? It's installed in reverse compared to most oil seals.

Re: Oil leak
Yes sir I did. Now, today I cleaned the oil all around the distributor and drove it a hour or so.. Came home and no oil leak ! Didn't push it though. And when there was oil drips on the header I had pushed the car pretty hard. O you think that has anything to do with it?
Re: Oil leak
Was just thinking and Im not sure if I replaced the seal the correct way. I think I did. Should I get another kit from you guys and do it again? Let me know. Thxs Henry

Re: Oil leak
See if it leaks. Hopefully you replaced it the way it came out, which is the reverse of how most seals are. The 'front' of the seal, ie the flat part, goes facing in.
