E10 Fuel

Post by LucN »

Hi ,

within a few months, the current unleaded 95 ron fuel (5% bio ethanol) wil be replaced by E10 (95ron 10% bio ethanol). Is this fuel suitable for our (carburated) Spiders?

I found an ethanol-free gas station with 92-octane just a few miles from my house. With a little planning I can fuel up my car there with minimal wasted time or effort. I *think* I have ethanol resistant fuel hoses in my car now, but why take a chance if I don't have to? Obviously this link doesn't help you in Belgium, but it might help other owners in North America.
