Picture of fuel line over the axel

Post by spiderman1 »

I am re installing the fuel tank etc. today. Does anyone happen to have a picture of the hard line that goes over the axel. I bent my new lines using the old ones as a template but my pictures arent helping me on the re-install very much. I think I need another visual to make sure I have it right.
Thanks for the help

I've been there and done that but could not have provided any images. All i remember was that it was tedious and i was on my back testing it out several times wrapping my arm around a disgustingly greasy and repulsive axle. Then i realized that the line was too long and there was no room to create any twisties so off it came again, cut it created another flare...
Anywhere the line contacts the chassis i slit open some small strips of rubber fuel line and wrapped them around the metal line so to avoid any wear or squeaking.
