So I've been hearing some valve chatter under the hood for awhile now and decided that since I had an off day I would look into the valve clearances. It turns out my valves are way out of adjustment. Here are the numbers I came up with:
Cylinder 4 - Exhaust: .047in. Intake: .030in.
Cylinder 3 - Exhaust: .036in. Intake: .030in.
Cylinder 2 - Exhaust: .031in. Intake: .026in.
Cylinder 1 - Exhaust: .0.015in. Intake: .026in.
I've revved the car up to 4500 rpm on one occasion in this condition but didn't punch it past that because the power would cut out around that mark, probably because the valves were floating a bit

. I've been easy on the car after that knowing that the valves needed to be adjusted but I'm worried I might've damaged something on my fairly new rebuilt head. What are your thoughts?
