Ferrari & Lamborghini Museum visit

Post by MIGHTY 8 »

Greetings all,
Will have an opportunity next week to visit these two museums.
Will be my first time doing so, and wanted to ask if there's anyone with special recommendations or advice for me beforehand.
Cheers to all,

Gabriel

Lucky you! You're headed to Terra di Motori (land of the cars)! Within a fifty mile circle are the locations of Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maserati, Pagani, and Ducati.

I lived in southern Italy for nearly three years (2011 - 2013), and I had the opportunity to go there myself. Both the Lamborghini and Ferrari museums are very fun, and you should plan to see both (if time doesn't permit seeing all five sites). In both towns (Maranello and Sant'Agata) there are places nearby where you can rent these cars for as few as fifteen minutes for a drive through the Italian countryside. I'd recommend that you save enough money ($200) for a 30 minute trip and see how the other half lives. It's the most fun you can have with your clothes on!!!

I took my family of five and we rented two Ferrari Californias for 15 minutes (total cost was under $200). I drove one car, and the rental company provided a pilot for the second car. My sons still talk about that day.

Thank you all for your advice! Yes, it's spectacular that they are all so close to each other. Can only imagine the stories of the brawls between factory workers under the inevitable circumstances they may have met at the wrong bar one day!
Will try my best to post pictures after the fact.
Ciao tutti!

I went to the Ferrari museum last year. It was on May 1, and the Lamborghini museum was
closed.

Had a great time.

2003 Chevrolet Cavalier (daily driver)
