Front turn signals

Post by Funcar »

I removed my front turn signals to see if I can restore them. They seem to be in pretty poor condition. Looks like the PO put a new socket in one of them. Chrome plating is no existent. Thinking of using the aluminum tape that is used on sheet metal ducts. Perhaps aluminum paint? Any suggestions or solutions you have used?

You can clean up the reflector and glue mylar mirror film to it.

About $10 at Amazon:

I wonder if that "chrome" paint would work on the interior plastic reflector area? That might do the trick.
