I have the original dealer invoice and AC is not mentioned. However this copper sensor tube on my heater valve has me wondering. How does this thing work?

no AC, that capillary tub is part of the older heating valves, kind of an auto thermostat, it is intended to keep the heat at a constant temperature

Thanks for the response. That's a lot of sophistication there. Normally I see that type of thing in commercial buildings.
