Race Header

Post by So Cal Mark »

We're building some race headers for the Spider. Here are a few preliminary pics. These are for race-only cars and feature 1 5/8" primaries, 1 3/4" secondaries and a 3" collector. These pics are prior to coating, obviously

These look great!

Will they be available for sale? Was there a target RPM used to determine runner length?

Very interested for my time attack car...

they are posted on my website at allisonsautomotive.com
The optimum length has been determined through dyno testing and this is as close to that length as possible while still fitting the chassis

Looks very cool. From your website it states This header is not practical for street use. Could you expand or elaborate on this? I like the look of this more than the "coiled" unit you sell. How do the two perform comparatively?

the race header prevents the use of heater hoses and most anything mounted on the right fenderwell. It's also larger diameter for much higher rpm use
