Transmission removal?Gearshift
I am getting ready to remove my Fiats transmission. The manual says to remove the top half of the gearshift. I have tried my to pull it off but its a no go. Am I doing something wrong? Ranee

Re: Transmission removal?Gearshift
I found that when removingthe transmisison the entire shifter has to be removed. Undo the three 10mm bolts at the bottom and once the cover is rmeoved undo the 13mm nut in the center. The pivot assembly will fall apart and down and the shifter can be pulled up with a little wiggling.
