Mark a question for you. I replaced my original carb with a 32/36 DFEV weber. I am now wondering if that is the proper replacement. I keep reading where people are talk about IDF's. what is your recommendation?

the 32/36 dfev is the most common replacement carb used. IDFs would convert it to dual carbs. We've had great success with the 32/36 carbs

do they run pretty stock on a normal basis or do you have to change jets. I have heard that the 124's like to run a little rich or they will heat up. I have mine set pretty much the way the instructions says but it does run a little hot even though I've burped it like you're supposed to. I opened the thermostat up for the summer and will replace it this winter.
