I have been unable to locate a mounting plate for my spider. I have a turtle back aircleaner mounted on two downdraft webers, the mounting plate fits inside the cleaner on top of the rubber mouldings that seat the cleaner to the carbs. Then the nuts screw down on top of the plate securing the lot to the carbs. There are two of these plates. Tough description I know...but those of you with the same set up will know. Any help appreciated.

Re: Mounting plate - Weber
I'm missing one from my setup up. I know it's not right, but I use wide washers so my nuts don't dig into the rubber.

What?? I didn't say anything.
OK, I promise, no more. (I know, enough is enough)

in this case ENOUGH = quite humorous.
i love this forum, it gives me a chance to vent, a chance to show what i know and don't know, a chance to share crackle paint projects, a chance to get some advice (some of it good)... but most importantly... it entertains me thru every dull, boring, mundane day of my employed life.
