'77 1800 "California" fails CA smog (Diagram needed)

New to this forum, and to 124 Spider ownership since I was 18, back in 19XX.
I just bought a non-op 1977 124 1800 "California" Spider. Looks and runs good. Tried to get it smogged, and smog guy says it failed visual inspection. He had no diagram, and said the routing of the vacuum hoses made no sense?
Does anyone have a good, clear diagram, and or pictures of stock 1977 with California emission crap. (Wishing I bought a 1973, smog exempt)

I just bought a 77 and am asking myself the same question. I have been spoiled with the pleasure of owning only fuel injected spiders, so I don't quite know how the emissions system is set up on my car. Any diagrams or explanations would be much appreciated. Here are a few photos of what I'm dealing with.




I'm assuming this is my mechanical fuel pump. Should that be replaced?

Should the hose in the lower right corner be connected to anything?

the big hose goes on the bottom of the air filter
if the car runs then the fuel pump is ok for now

Thank you all for the pics and diagram links. Leaned out the mixture, and lowered idle. Made sure everything went to where it belongs (According to Fiat) and found a "gear head" that runs a Smog Only station. Brought diagrams with me and....
Car passed smog !!! I am as happy as can be. That is until my order from Allison's Automotive comes it.

You gotta give your 124 treats to keep it happy.
