So my new '78 spider failed her test, shes reading high for her HC loaded at 289/250, and high for her CO loaded and idle and 5.11/1.65 and 4.64/2.20 respectively. I messed with the carb a bit after the test because i know she was running rich because there was fuel left in the carb as well as her getting absolute shat mpg.

Now I've heard I can retard the timing through the dizzy as well as get the tech to run her and 3rd and that should help? Any other advice is appreciated also anyone in az that would like to meet up to compare and take a look at my carb would be appreciated! I'm in Gilbert myself.
