82 FI exhaust header keeps coming loose

Post by BammBamm »

I have ordered some copper nuts to go on the header and I bought the transmission/ downpipe exhaust mount but I can't figure out how it mounts. It's not in the manuals or exploded diagram showing where it attachs. COuld someone give me a description or a pic of it mounted?
to be clear -this mount

I think this is what you are looking at? Mounts between the transmission and the exhaust

Thanks for the pic. That helps a bunch. I am using lock washing but they loose thier temper. Between the bracket and new nuts it should be ok.
