It's not a good idea to glue these panels on. These parts were not designed to be glued. Modern cars have glued parts but only in specific areas and the parts have been designed from the start to be glued. The big problem with epoxy is it will melt if you take a heat gun to it. It is not really permanent like a weld is.

Well that good to know about the glue, hate to have it fall apart, I do have access so a spot welder,
I'm taking the guts out of the door, what a pain in the *******. , just hope in goes in smooth when the time is ready
I'm getting them deep in the acid solution

Does every one just use a plain stock oil pan with your rebuilt? Randy had other ideas and I'm wondering if I should go stock or follow thru on what he had planned

I'd bet it depends on how aggressive you get in the corners, and which engine you're building up.

My 2L has baffles and I haven't had any problems taking turns like a stunt driver.

What was Randy's vision for the car?

Well I bought a scraper and he put it on , I believe he was going to make a wing oil pan

I think that where I got mine from, but I'm not sure,I seen something bolted on the bottom of the engine

It sounds like a great upgrade to have. What size engine are you building up? I saw that you're getting rid of your 1608.

2.0. If I can recall at this time, I have marks aggressive cams 40/80 ported and polish head,Pistons hmmm80.6 pop ups, I think
Lighten flywheel. All aluminum pulleys, all the bells and whistles I believe
