Head gasket?

Post by 70spider »

Just when I think things are going well something else decides to get my attention. I went to get my son from work today and when I came to a stop at the first stop sign I noticed I was greeted with a cloud of white smoke. I look back and give it throttle and more billows out. He has never done this, always a little puff when I start but nothing like this: http://vid344.photobucket.com/albums/p3 ... gbpv2g.mp4
Did I blow the head gasket? Odd thing is he runs well despite him taking up 3 packs a day.

I guess its time put this horse out of it's misery, I am going to pull the motor out next week and get started on the engine bay. The motor has developed a serious amount of leaking gaskets, both tower gaskets, oil pan, fuel pump, and for some reason the dip stick leaks (and its new). It is going to be weird not driving the little guy for a year :( . Unfortunately being laid off and trying to keep up with this car isn't working and if I touch the vacation fund the wife will kill me
Good luck everyone on your Spiders.
