1438 pistons off ebay
Ok, I bought some Borgo 1438 std HC pistons from ebay. The pistons look flawless but I have an issue, they came with the pins pressed in. I do not feel comfortable using my cheap press so I'll have the machine shop press the pins. Is it normal for these type of pistons to come like this?

The pins are a press in fit to the conrod
The pins are stuck solid in the pistons. I am going to create a cupped holding block for the pistons, apply WD40, and light pressure with my bench press. If this doesn't work I'll take them in and see if the machinist can figure it out.

Success!
Now are these really HC pistons, I measured the dome and it was 6.5mm.
