Does anyone have a suggestion to remove the AFM cover. I think I can probably force it off but don't want to cause too much damage.
Thanks

Re: AFM Cover Removal
cut around it with a razor blade? Try and find the weakest point and start prying it put there.

+1 on the cutting with a box cutter around the edge. Have a few band-aids close as well. If you have them handy, in my experience you won't need them then.
What are you going in for?
The only time I went in was to adjust the pins on the track as I was having a bit of a stumble on the first 2000 rpm or so.

Re: AFM Cover Removal
Andrew,
Did you ever get your vibration and poor acceleration/stalling issues sorted out?
Is it the latter issue that has caused you to want to examine the innards of the AFM?
I've mentioned this several times on the forum, but I had a very good result from sending my AFM to Fuel Injection Corp. in Calif. for total refurbishment. The cost is extremely reasonable and worth it, considering how important the AFM is to how the car runs. I had stalling and idle problems before, but now the car runs great. A bonus is that the AFM comes back looking brand new which helps to dress up the engine bay.
