I had to conduct some early Spring maintenance on my car. I'm glad to have most of the work done.

- I fixed my oil leak at my fuel pump (thank you Autoricambi for having the insulator that I needed)
- I fixed my trans leak (thank you Autoricambi for having the part I needed)
- I replaced my severely clogged thermal control valve housing (thanks to my parts car)
- I replaced my inoperable thermal control valves (thanks to my parts car and spare parts from PicknPull)
- I re-routed the myriad of vacuum lines correctly (thanks to Kelly Dicker at Wine Country Motors who provided me the info I needed)
- I fixed the coolant leak at the coolant T outlet (thanks to my project car's extra partsl)

I'm now leak free. Let's see how long it stays that way. I still have to weld the driver's door hinge that is cracking, replace the heater fan motor, rotate the tires, get my alignment checked and I'll be all set for the summer!

Any tips on welding the hinge?

Sorry Spidernut, ya kinda 'opened the door' for that ....

Yes, getting the repair/maintenance list items crossed off always feels good, because ya knows that summer is coming soon, and the roads will be a call'n.
My list included a new thermostat, left & right map holders (damn those are expensive!) and new (rebuilt) rear brake calipers. Oh, almost forgot. I built a new mahogany dash, installed Roadster wheels (thanks Vick's, they look great) and new 205/50 15 tires.

I bought a Detail Clay Kit and some expensive wax today to finish the winter's project!

I'm ready for the summer. Bring it on!
