After installing a rebuilt transmission and a rebuilt engine I have a large transmission oil leak. It drips from the bottom of the bell housing. The amount of drip is slowing from about a quarter cup per day to now about two table spoons per day. In the picture you will also see a little coolant but I have found the source of that leak and repaired it. Any suggestions of where this leak is coming from would be appreciated. I really don't want to hear that I have to drop the transmission

Re: Transmission Oil Leak
It could be the front seal or the gasket between the bellhousing and transmission. If it is one of those you'll have to pull the transmission to fix it
It may be slowing down because of the fluid level. It doesn't take much to fill the transmission in the first place
