Fuel filter - installation

Post by RaneeHobbs »

I just ordered a fuel filter for my 76 Fiat - My friend and I have looked everywhere for a fuel filter on my car, with no luck. SO, where is the best place to install this filter?

Usually installed just before the pump. Definitely install it after the pump, as it's easier for the pump to push fuel than to pull it.

+1 for installing after the pump. Do install a fuel strainer between the fuel tank and the pump, though.
