oil leaking...

There seems to be also oil dripping on the exhaust pipe just in front of where the trans and the engine meet. The dist. seal is new, it's not coming from the cam towers, so what else is there on that side?

Did you check the exhaust manifold studs? The one that is second, moving from the firewall towards the front, is one of the classic oil leaks. Tap your fingertip underneath the end and see if it comes up oily. If so, double-nut, remove, high-temp sealant, replace.

So far it's been behaving...Rtv on the dipstick tube solved that for now, and otherwise it seems like its drying out. Might actually hold oil for a spell...
