FOG LIGHTS

Post by rbp911 »

I would like to add a set of period correct fog lights on the front of my 85 Pininfarina (Fiat) 2000.
Anyone have any suggestions as to where to get the lights and mounting hardware?

4" round, 7" round, rectangular? Mounted in upper grille, lower grille or under the bumper?

Definitely round and mounted in the upper grille. Not sure whether 4" or 7". I have never seen a Fiat with fog lights. What do you recommend?

Like these...

... Ok they're a bit on the large size (8"!)

Plenty out there to find though. I used to have some replica 5" ones that were a doddle to fit.

If you want to put them in the upper grille, you'll need either 4" round or rectangular lights. If you look up 81 Resto Mod in the Restoration section you'll see a car that I mounted 4" round lights in the upper grille

I did it this way:
Image

The lights are Sirius NS-103F. http://www.ns-sirius.com/product-view.p ... =&keyword=

I bolted a 25mm square profile steel tube to the bumper attachments (inside the fender) and installed the lights in them. Cut the grille and took off a small piece from the chrome bezel.

Cool, Madspeed. Where did you get the headlight screens. And what are those hook-like chrome things next to the parking lights?
