You may be the only one that has it working, mine has never worked properly, I am hoping a new cable will rectify some of the issue
Ah, you misunderstand me. Mine is ineffective. My asking the question was not a version of, "Hey, I don't know what you guys are doing wrong, but my parking brake is fantastic!"

Mine is in fact ineffective, and my understanding is that they all are. But I don't know why. Design flaw? Bad calipers? Fatigue of parts? :?
Mine has been working fine since I replaced the cable. You do have to press the brake pedal down firmly to set them and hold it there while pulling up on the parking brake handle which is pretty much SOP for the OEM style calipers. My brothers house is almost 20 feet higher than the roadway with a driveway that is about 4 to 5 car lengths long and the Spider holds that without rolling out into the street while it sits there idling. You can't be timid about setting them and they are not what you would call fantastic but they have held reliably for me.

the complete rear kit with unpainted silver calipers will be $690, with either red or black powder coated calipers will be $760. I'm waiting for calipers to come back from the powder coater. Since I'm off to SEMA this week, I won't be able to get them listed until I return

Kits are listed in our ebay store. The kits contain all parts needed for installation. Some parts are not pictured but are part of the kits.

Hey MArk, Did I read somewhere earlier that the rear kit is only for brakes the later style differentials? Will there be one available for the earlier style?
Cheers David

this kit only fits the later diffs with the removable rear cover. There will be a kit for the early style diffs in the near future, but it will probably use Wilwood calipers

Mark,

Are the red calipers the same shade of red that were on the front ones I bought from you?

we're having them powder coated at the same place. Some of the early front kits might have a different shade of red but it should be close
