2015 Southern Arizona "Wine Country Cruise" - Updated with photos

The Fun Italian Automobiles of Tucson and Southern Arizona Pantera Club are scheduling Saturday 21 November 2015 for their southern Arizona wine country cruise. This year it's dubbed "El Tour de Wine Country" in honor of the El Tour de Tucson bicycle event being held the same day in the Tucson metro area - which is all the more reason to get out of town and come on the wine cruise.

They will start this cruise by gathering in Vail, AZ and then heading down AZ-83 for some nice back country driving while visiting 3 wineries in the Elgin / Sonoita area southeast of Tucson. They will wrap up the event in time for the Tucson area participants to be home by sunset.

RSVP is needed for planning purposes. Participants are responsible for their own meals and expenses. If this event is something you would like to participate in or would like additional information, send me a PM or email through the forum no later than 14 November 2015.

The alternate in-case-of-rain date is Sunday 22 November.

It looks like Tammy and I are heading down from Mesa area after work on Friday and making a weekend out of it if anyone from the Phoenix area wants to head down also let us know. There is a Fiat Meetup group that is doing a Sunday morning run down to Tombstone for lunch so we might try to catch them on Sunday and then follow them back up also.

Already have plans for that day... Which sucks, because I love Pantera's too... Hopefully they do more events.

The Fun Italian Automobiles of Tucson held there 2015 Wine Country Cruise on 21 November 2015. We didn't have as many cars actully participate as had signed up but those who attended had a great time. The weather was perfect for blasting down the road with the top down - didn't even need the heater!
